Meals
Breakfast: A continental breakfast is served daily at 7.30am in low care and 8.00am in high care.
Lunch: Is served at 12md in high care and 12.15 in low care. A choice is available, consisting of a hot meal, followed by dessert.
Dinner: Is served at 5.00pm in high care and 5.15pm in low care. Dinner consists of soup, a hot meal or a choice of, salad or sandwiches followed by fruit.
In addition to these meals morning tea, afternoon tea and supper are served.
A Birthday cake is provided each month to celebrate the Birthdays in the month.
Menus are designed to ensure a nutritious diet with plenty of variety. Diets are prepared for individuals with special needs eg. diabetic, pureed, salt free.

Residents' Meeting
Residents' meetings are held three monthly and both residents, family and friends are welcome.
Laundry
A laundry service is provided 7 days per week. The facility launders residents personal clothing. Staff launder all items with care and caution, however relatives may choose to take all, or some delicate washing home if they so desire. The mending of clothing is the responsibility of the resident/relatives. Relatives will be notified should any mending be required.
Linen
All linen, (sheets, towels, washers, bathmats) are provided by the facility.
Telephones
A public telephone is available in High Care. There is a phone outlet in each room which can be connected at residents expense.
Papers
Cedar Place Aged Care Facility provides the following local papers for residents to read:
- The Macleay Argus is delivered Tuesdays and Fridays.
- The Macleay Happynings is delivered weekly.
- The Observer is delivered weekly.
- The Peoples Friend is delivered Fridays.
- The Cedar Place Chatter is published regularly.
Residents can make arrangements with the Newsagent to have individual deliveries made as required at their own expense.

RadiosThe facility provides a radio cassette in three lounge areas for the residents to enjoy. Residents are also permitted to have their own radio/cassette in their room, should they wish. Earphones may be required if music disturbs other residents.
TelevisionA television and video player is provided in 4 areas for resident use. Residents are welcome to have their own Televisions in their room. Aerial connection is provided in each room to link to the outdoor aerial.
Church ServicesDifferent denominations visit the facility to provide church services. These times will be displayed on the notice board. Currently we have a church service at 3.30pm on Tuesdays. Pastoral visits are available serveral times a week.
ChoirCedar Place has great pride in its residents' choir which was formed in June 2005. Residents are encouraged to join.
Facility BusA 21 seat bus was purchased in December 2008 after extensive fundraising. This enables residents to have regular outings for picnics, etc.

LibraryKempsey Library provides an onsite library that the facility residents can access. This onsite library is regulary rotated to provide a wide range of resources.
Cedar Place also provides a small library of books which can be found throughout the facility.
Videos
A selection of movies is donated weekly for the residents to enjoy. Any special request may be made to the Diversional Therapist, who will endeavour to get the movie for viewing.
Visitors
Visiting hours are Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 5:30pm. Weekends and Public Holidays have restricted visiting times, which are advertised at the facility's entrance.
All visitors are requested to sign in and out at reception.
